With a new CEO and new financial backing, Hertz made the largest single purchase of EV\u2019s to date \u2026 committing to&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2021-10-25\/hertz-said-to-order-100-000-teslas-in-car-rental-market-shake-up\" target=\"_blank\">purchase 100,000 Tesla\u2019s<\/a>&nbsp;to be delivered by the end of 2022. The purchase caused Tesla\u2019s stock to soar to over $1 Trillion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">The cars in the Hertz fleet will have access to&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tesla.com\/findus?\" target=\"_blank\">Tesla\u2019s Supercharger network<\/a>&nbsp;in addition to all the other EV charging stations available to drivers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Renting an EV has been a goal of many EV drivers over the past decade however not many options were available.
