Electric Vehicle Charging Station Financial Incentives

There are several financial incentives including Federal tax credits, State and utility grants as well as no sales tax (~10% savings in Washington) which all help to reduce the cost of installing an EV charging station.

Homeowners and businesses may be eligible for Federal tax credits worth up to 30% of the equipment and installation costs of electric vehicle charging stations (EVSE) – up to $1,000 for homeowners and $30,000 for businesses!

Some of our local utilities, Seattle City Light, Puget Sound Energy, Tacoma Power, Snohomish PUD and Clark Public Utilities are offering grants for installing electric vehicle charging stations for homeowners and businesses.
